Oakley’s team ripper, who broke out at Winter X Games 15 last season with a resounding Big Air victory, lead the charge at subsequent events with his stellar riding as the IOC considered Ski Slopestyle as an Olympic event. Lake Louise: Lindsey Vonn Sweeps World Cup Downhill & Super-G, Extends Commanding Series Lead
Last year’s World Cup battle is no more. This year, Lindsey Vonn’s dominance is unquestioned. Extending an already commanding lead in the overall standings, Lindsey swept her way through Lake Louise this past weekend, claiming downhill races on Friday and Saturday before taking the Super-G on Sunday with a time of 1:20.21. The latter victory was her 11th at Lake Louise.
