Oakley in Television

In between pushing the bounds of sport performance eyewear innovations, perfecting a women’s active wear line and working with some of the world’s most talented athletes, Oakley also maintains a presence in Hollywood.

For years Oakley has supported the television industry by working with actors, props and costumers to create authentic opportunities that organically integrate with the characters on a variety of top shows.

For example, Nick Stokes, played by George Eads, can currently be seen wearing Oakley Dispatch throughout this season of CBS’s hit show “CSI.”

Similarly, character Kensi Blye, played by Daniela Ruah, and Marty Deeks, played by Eric Christian Olsen, on “NCIS LA,” both use Oakley Flak Jacket glasses for eye protection during their shooting practice sessions, while “Hawaii Five O’s” leading man, Steve McGarrett, played by Alex O’Laughlin, sports Split Jacket while riding his motorcycle through the up country mountains of Oahu.

Costumers often request Oakley products, but sometimes they’re requested by the actors themselves. On the hit crime suspense drama “Southland,” leading investigative cop, John Cooper, played by Michael Cuditz, has personally chosen Oakley Radars to complete his uniform.

These examples represent only a small sampling of Oakley in television, let alone the numerous blockbuster movies that have utilized Oakley products to complete a character’s look.
