• $100k Raised by Ryan Sheckler's Foundation at "Skate For a Cause"

On a breezy afternoon at the Etnies Skatepark in Mission Viejo, Calif., Ryan Sheckler was joined by the skating community. Current pros like Greg Lutzka and Austen Seaholm, legends of the sport like Jay Adams and Christian Hosoi, turned out for the cause. They were there to compete, of course, but they were also there to contribute – and contribute, they did. Between the carnival atmosphere outside the park and the money spent to watch the big name present and past pros do their thing, more than $100,000 was raised for the Sheckler Foundation and “Be The Change” project to build a skatepark on the Port Gamble S’klallam Reservation.

Attempting to shed light on some of the reality faced on a daily basis by everyday Los Angeles Police Department officers, the TNT show highlights the real life, deep connection between Law Enforcement and Oakley.

To mix things up a bit in the 7th year of the event’s existence, the organisers changed the starting point and had the race run in inversed directions.
